Project description
This project was made at the HITLab NZ which is a research laboratory within human-computer-interaction in New Zealand. The project contained both research of and design for the advantages of tool-free interaction techniques within the multi-touch technology. At hand was a large scale multitouch display which could enable collaborative work and multi-people interaction.
As well as creating an interface of a multi-touch photo browser application. The hardware I was working with was a large scale multi-touch display, enabling collaborative work and multi-people interaction.
My role as a researcher and developer
I was working as the interaction designer in this project and did research and development of two applications. During my research I did observatory user studies to understand how people interact  with tangible artefacts. This was transformed into different interaction patterns that I implemented in two multitouch applications made in Adobe Flash.
Result
• Photo browser application
• Ahici - Touch screen presentation of New Zealand
• Research article of interaction techniques within multi-touch
